Attached to the bottom of gas lift vales that do not have internal check vales integrated
Used to enable the function of pressure to tubing for circulation or acidizing operations

Fluid Gradient Versus Slurry Density
(Hydrostatic Pressure Exerted by Fluid / Sand Mixtures)
To properly operate a tool in the presence of a sand- laden slurry, calculated the hydrostatic pressure exerted by a column of this slurry. The following provides fluid gradient factors needed for this calculation, based on the true density of the sand being 22.144 lb/gal.
Density of Sand/ Fluid Slurries:
Lb/gal slurry = (MW + PSA) ÷ [(0.0456 x PSA) + 1]
Where:
MW = lb/gal of fluid
PSA = Pounds of sand added per gallon of fluid

VALVE CORES / DRILL CORE VALVES
The Valve Core / Drill Core Valves are used in both 1" and 1.5" Gas Lift Valves. The valve core is made up of 3 main pieces:
The bridge for screwing the valve core into its housing.
The seat with its joint providing a static seal from the valve body.
The valve with its spring for introducing or draining fluid and guaranteeing sealing under pressure in the rest position.
RETAINER RINGS
Revata Engineering manufacturers Retainer Rings for both 1" and 1.5" Gas Lift Valves. These are manufactured using a special Copper Grade specifically suited for this application. Please contact us for more details on this product.
TUNGSTEN CARBIDE & MONEL® STEM TIPS & SEATS
Revata Engineering provides Tungsten Carbide & Monel® Stem Tips and Seats in a wide variety of configurations and specifications for use in wear, corrosive and erosive conditions. The seats have a finished port area and are pressure tested so that a positive ball / seat seal is achieved.
We manufacture seats for standard 1" Valves in port sizes from 1/8” up to 3/8”.
We manufacture seats for standard 1 1/2” in port sizes from 1/8” up to 1/2”. We provide both Tungsten Carbide and Monel® Stem Tips from size 5/32” up to 5/8”. The TC Balls that we use are manufactured as per Anti-Friction Bearing Manufacturer Association (AFMBA) standards. Standard sized balls in 6% Cobalt material are readily available in stock with us.
